Dallas, TX (December 7, 2016) – Unite Private Networks (UPN) a leading provider of high-capacity, fiber-based communication networks, today announces it is now offering a full suite of carrier-grade, high-bandwidth Ethernet, IP, dark fiber and data transport services to customers in the new ViaWest Plano, Texas data center. UPN already provides services in ViaWest’s two other facilities in the Dallas metro, the Dallas Infomart data center and Richardson Synergy Park data center.

The new fiber extends the existing UPN Plano infrastructure and will enable customers to have diverse routes to some of the most important connectivity hubs in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro.
ViaWest officially opened the Plano data center today, hosting a grand opening celebration. The data center is Tier III certified by the Uptime Institute for concurrently maintainable reliability and features 148,000 square feet of raised floor capacity.
