Kearney, MO (March 25, 2008) – Unite Private Networks (UPN) today announced an agreement to provide data services over a Fiber Optic Wide Area Network for the CHSD #218 School District located in Oak Lawn, IL. The 10 year agreement calls for UPN to provide a 23 mile Fiber Optic Network through much of Oak Lawn, Illinois.
“The CHSD #218 School District came to us looking for a solution for all their data needs across the District. Our advanced fiber network allows us to deliver very large amounts of data in a reliable and secure manner,” said Rob Oyler, Senior Vice President, Business Development for UPN. “The CHSD #218 School District is an important customer for UPN and we are very pleased we could develop this long-term relationship with them and become a presence in the Chicago, Illinois area.”
