Unite Private Networks Announces High Speed Broadband Capabilities in Grand Junction Colorado

Network will enable business customers to access dark fiber, Ethernet and Internet services

Kansas City, MO (March 16, 2016) – Unite Private Networks (UPN), a leading provider of high-capacity, fiber-based communication networks is pleased to announce a recent network expansion in Grand Junction, CO.

UPN’s fiber network extends throughout the greater Grand Junction area, including Loma, Fruita, Appleton, Fruitvale, Clifton, and Palisade. Initial customers benefiting from the new network include several local businesses, a major wireless carrier, and the Mesa County Valley School District 51, who will be receiving 10 Gigabit connectivity to all 45 school sites.

“School districts, like all modern organizations, rely heavily on the transmit capacity of their data networks,” said Randy C. Dalton, the Mesa County Valley School District 51 Manager of Technical Infrastructure. “We must constantly strive to provide sufficient bandwidth for the technology-rich 21st century classroom. The number of attached devices grows constantly and at an accelerated pace. Our relationship with Unite Private Networks helps us leverage the needed capacity of our WAN while controlling cost.”

“Our carrier-grade, industry leading network solution will allow Grand Junction businesses access to a 100 percent fiber network built on redundancy and diversity, that’s easily scalable to 100gbps,” said Travis Noble, Senior Vice President of Sales at Unite Private Networks. “Our dedicated and private network offers businesses a full suite of flexible solutions such as Internet, Ethernet and dark fiber, and we are looking forward to working with the Grand Junction business community to meet their ever growing bandwidth needs.”

“We targeted Grand Junction knowing the city needed more connectivity options for businesses, and we are happy to bring a reliable option to meet the critical bandwidth needs of the Grand Junction business community,” said Jason W. Adkins, President of UPN.

“The business community of Grand Junction welcomes Unite Private Networks to our fiber infrastructure locally,” said Diane Schwenke, President/CEO of the Grand Junction Chamber of Commerce. “Having more access and options along with competitive rates for service is good for business and good for the community.”
